The Original Bakery in 1872 The founder. William James Palmer (2nd from right) |
Situated in the heart of Suffolk. Supplying bread and confectionary to the local community for over 130 years. Now in its fifth generation of Palmers. Still using the original brick ovens. Formerly heated by faggots, then coal, and now gas, the bricks still retain that mystical flavour that is unique to ovens of this type and cannot be matched by today's modern bread ovens |
